Are you seeking a better work-life balance? Feeling overwhelmed in certain areas of your life? Or maybe you’re looking for accountability and a fresh perspective on goals you’ve set?

As a Neurodiversity & Resilience Coach, I’m here to help you define what matters most and support you in achieving your goals in a way that honours your unique strengths.

I specialise in guiding individuals like you to embrace your distinctive way of experiencing the world. Together, we’ll develop strategies that work with your natural wiring, supporting your wellbeing and resilience both at work and home. No matter the challenge, I’m here to help you take charge and thrive.

I’ve walked a similar path myself, so I understand the struggles you may be facing. But I’ve also learned invaluable lessons that I’m passionate about sharing to empower you. Why invest in coaching?

Life comes with its constant pressures—work, family, relationships, finances. It can feel overwhelming, and those stresses spill into every part of your life, affecting your productivity, your mood, and your ability to stay present. Setting aside time for your own development is not just an investment in yourself, it’s an investment in everyone around you. Because when you’re at your best, you can give your best.

Why Choose a Neurodiversity & Resilience Coach?

Do you often find yourself struggling with tasks that seem straightforward to others? Perhaps you notice challenges with focus, experience heightened sensitivity to your environment, or feel overwhelmed in social situations. These signs may indicate a neurodiverse mind navigating a world that often feels misaligned with your unique way of thinking.

If you’re neurodivergent, the typical approaches to wellbeing and personal growth might not always feel like they fit. That’s where working with a coach who truly understands neurodiversity can make all the difference.

I’m Julie, an accredited coach (ILM Level 7) and a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council UK (EMCC UK), subscribing to their Global Code of Ethics. My coaching is grounded in lived experience, not just theory. I’ve walked this path too. But I recognise that every journey is unique. I’m here to help you recognise and harness the strengths that come with neurodiversity while also building resilience to handle life’s demands.

By adopting an approach of compassionate curiosity, we’ll explore your unique experiences, identify effective strategies, and empower you to thrive, not just fit in. Whether it’s at work or in your personal life, our focus will be on creating pathways that support your wellbeing and allow you to shine.

FAQs

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a unique process that sets itself apart from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counselling. Together, we’ll focus on enhancing your overall wellbeing and personal resilience, addressing the specific challenges and transitions you face in your life, relationships, or profession. We’ll begin by examining your current situation, identifying any obstacles or stressors, and exploring how they impact your mental health and resilience.

In our coaching relationship, we’ll not only clarify what you want to achieve but also integrate neurodiversity strategies tailored to your unique strengths and challenges. By recognizing and embracing your neurodivergent traits, we can develop practical approaches that support your journey toward a healthier, more balanced life. With a deep understanding of your aspirations, I’ll be here to guide you, empower you, and facilitate the process of turning your vision of wellbeing and resilience into a tangible reality.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

While both coaching and therapy can help you grow, they have different focuses. Therapy often addresses past trauma, emotional pain, or unresolved issues from your life that are impacting you now. Coaching, on the other hand, is forward-focused. It’s about setting goals, developing self-awareness, and building strategies for personal and professional growth. Coaching is action-oriented, and we’ll work together to help you gain insight and put it into practice. It’s about empowering you to take control of your future while recognizing that you’re the expert in your own life.

I don't have a diagnosis. Can we still work together?

Yes, absolutely. Whether or not you have a formal diagnosis—whether it’s for a neurodivergent condition like ADHD or Autism, or a mental health condition such as anxiety or depression—we can still work together to explore how you’re feeling and find strategies that work for you. Many people experience traits or symptoms that resonate with neurodiversity or mental health challenges without having an official diagnosis. My focus is on supporting your unique needs and helping you thrive, regardless of labels or diagnoses.

What does "compassionate curiosity" mean?

Compassionate curiosity is about exploring your experiences with an open mind and genuine care, without rushing to judgment or solutions. It’s a way of understanding why things might feel challenging for you, and instead of focusing on what’s “wrong,” we focus on how your brain works, what you need, and how we can find strategies that fit your unique perspective. This approach allows us to develop self-awareness and practical solutions from a place of empathy, making space for both growth and self-acceptance as you learn how to thrive on your terms.

What happens in an Intensive Session?

An Intensive Session is a 90-minute focused dive into a specific issue that’s causing you stress. We’ll quickly get to the heart of the challenge, using a solution-focused approach to develop practical strategies, new perspectives, and actionable steps. The goal is to leave you feeling lighter, brighter, and with a clear plan of action, turning what feels like a roadblock into something manageable and empowering.

Is this just for people with ADHD?

No. While I work a lot with ADHDers (being one myself!), this package is open to anyone who identifies as neurodivergent — including those who are autistic, dyslexic, or have another neurodivergent profile.  And even if you’re not sure if you are neurodivergent or not, but are interested in how coahicng may support you, we can chat about whether this space and me as your coach feels like a good fit for you.

What is Strengthscope® and how will it help?

Strengthscope® is a strengths-based profiling tool that helps you understand what energises you and where you work at your best. You’ll get a personalised report and a debrief session with me to explore your results — and we’ll use this as a foundation for your coaching journey. You’ll also get access to extra tools and resources through the Strengthscope® portal.

What can I expect from coaching sessions?

Each session is a space to focus on you — what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what’s possible. We’ll combine reflection, strategy, and accountability in a way that suits your pace and energy. You don’t need to come with everything figured out — we’ll work it out together.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Life happens. You’re welcome to reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice. I’ll always do my best to accommodate changes, and we’ll agree our boundaries and expectations together in our welcome agreement.

I struggle with Zoom or structured calls — is that OK?

Totally. I want this to work with your brain, not against it. If sitting on a Zoom call feels overwhelming, we can explore alternatives — shorter sessions, camera off, using the chat box more, or even blending coaching with voice notes. Let me know what helps you feel most comfortable.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes — payment plans are available. You’ll see the options when you check out via Paperbell, and if you need something different, just get in touch.

Neurodiversity and Welbeing Coaching

After leaving my last job, i was feeling completely overwhelmed with what my next steps would be. As soon as I secured my coaching sessions with Julie, it felt like the pressure instantly eased.

Having been recently diagnosed with ADHD at 25, completely unexpectedly, Julie helped me navigate through areas that I found more challenging whilst also helping me nourish my strengths. Within the first session, I noticed a massive change in my attitude towards my diagnosis, and began feeling much more optimistic.

Julie’s patience, kindness and empathy were key factors in me being able to build a plan and understand myself better in an environment which felt completely safe and non-judgemental.

Though i may not still have it all figured out, Julie has made me realise that this is absolutely okay. Having ADHD is never going to be simple, but it doesn’t mean it’s unmanageable.

I would recommend Julie’s coaching to anyone who feels like they need a bit of extra support and guidance, no matter what stage of life they are st. It felt like talking to not only a well-informed professional, but also a friend which made all the difference and is something I truly valued.

– G.G., Marketing Executive

“The coaching sessions with Julie have been incredibly valuable in helping me get back on track after my injury. As I was navigating the stress and challenges of returning to work following a period of time off, the strategies we explored around building a healthy routine, managing my energy levels, and utilising various memory and organisational techniques have made a real difference.

I particularly appreciated the visual tools and reminders we discussed, like using a wall chart to plan my week and setting physical cues around the house. These have been so helpful in keeping me focused and on top of important tasks, even on more challenging days.

Beyond just the practical tips, the sessions also provided a space for me to reflect deeply on my priorities and what truly matters. Julie’s thoughtful questions and ability to see the bigger picture have been invaluable in reducing my stress and keeping me motivated.

I feel much more equipped to manage the ups and downs of my recovery and return to work. The coaching has given me a renewed sense of control and confidence that I can navigate this transition successfully. I’m grateful for the time and care Julie has put into supporting me through this process.”

Becky* (Return to Work welbeing coaching client)

When I first came to coaching, I was in the midst of a very challenging and uncertain period at work. After experiencing issues with a previous manager, I found myself navigating an organisational restructuring that was causing a lot of insecurity about my role and future. The coaching sessions with Julie were invaluable in helping me gain a more balanced perspective. Together, we explored the challenges I was facing, such as the lack of communication from colleagues. By considering alternative interpretations, I was able to see the situation in a new light.

Julie’s guidance and support helped me feel more in control of my circumstances. We identified promising new opportunities that aligned with my strengths, and I felt empowered to be selective about the work I took on. Most importantly, the coaching sessions helped me rebuild my self-confidence and self-belief, which had been severely tested. I feel like I’m in a much better place now, both mentally and emotionally, as I navigate this uncertain period.

I’m grateful for Julie’s objective, yet supportive, approach. I know that I can reconnect with her in the future as I continue planning for the next chapter of my career, and I’m confident the insights we’ve developed will serve me well.
